Step 1 : Coarsely chop the garlic and young ginger
​
Step 2 : Make deep cuts on middle of the breast meat. Make smaller slits on the side.
​
Step 3 : Heat the oil and fry the garlic till fragrant, brown the chicken breasts.
​
Step 4 : Set aside.
​
Step 5 : Fill the deep slits with fried garlic and ginger.
​
Step 6 : Use the same pot to cook the rice with pandan leaf.
​
Step 7 : When bubbles appear place the chicken breasts on top of the rice and cover for about 10 minutes
​
Step 8 : Serve with stir fry vegetables, fresh cut chiili and your own preferred sauce.
