The Recipe's Story
Soya contains a weak hormone known as phytoestrogen that mimics the real hormone oestrogen
Danggui 當歸 is a Chinese herb with weak oestrogen-like properties
Both foods may help to ease menopausal symptoms
Danggui is effective during the peri or premenopausal phase. One should not suffer during menopause. It is a transition stage to a next phase of life.
What helps? Exercise and foods with Good bacteria produce happy hormones. Reduce spicy foods and alcohol which may make hot flashes worse. However if you still feel like a train wreck seek medical help for hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
Get your physician to explain the risks of HRT and make an informed choice on how you would like to treat your symptoms.
No woman should suffer during menopause.
There are options available to help you cope..However personally I breezed through my menopause mainly due to my 4 pillars of health
Nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress management
I practised these 4 golden rules all my life and I am thankful for a “trouble free” menopause.
